P & i have become better friends. we stayed in school till 8pm to do project together, and were quite satisfied with our progress. :D i still dislike M btw. roars.

i'm just done with all the preparation for tmr's party. yes, we're celebrating bff Peisi's birthday ^^ still left with some things to pack, which i will do tmr morning. it's gonna be awesome and i can't wait!

have completed my 2 most important tutorials for next week and will be typing out my Public Finance assignment after i'm done blogging.

come Monday will be week 12, which is the second last week of school. OH YEH! :D

it's so hard to find good true friends. i'm glad i have a few. and already very thankful for them (: you know who you are.

friendship stuff aside, i was discussing project with M today when she said "you're wrong! this is wrong! what you are saying is xxx but it's not!" all in a very forceful & debate-y tone. i was so angry! i can't stand the way she always thinks she's right. like all high and mighty above all. she still can complain to me about other people /:

well, what to do, i landed myself into a no U-turn situation. just gotta stick with it till end of the semester. speaking of which, we are in week 11 already! the last week of school is week 13. omg.

having an evening meeting tmr for another project /: but at least there's P! my favourite friend in school thus far. hehe.

met sis Noi at PS to get Joel's bday gift yesterday and it was so damn crowded! Lee Min Ho was supposedly there for some Etude House opening but i didn't catch sight of him. haha. took a bus down to Joel's place but Chunhwee & sis Meh were late. so Sharon, Noi & i were like 3 children stranded by the roadside :P

it's so good to have friends. my project-mates-turned-friends are lovely people. i look forward to meeting them every Wed and today's no exception (: except that Yanlin baked cheesecake! which makes all of us even happier. HAHA. she's such a pro. now i have one more person to share baking tips with. yay! :D


met Regina for dinner at Sushi Tei at Tampines 1. we both cut our hair at the sametime! omg. she's now with bangs while i'm back to short hair ^^ her treat bcos she got her pay yesterday. just the two of us ate alot!


passion fruit mango juice and hot green tea, followed by crab meat mayonnaise (kani mayo) for appetizer. nine thick slices of tuna, salmon & yellow tail sashimi (asama). four eel & omelette sushi (una tama) and prawn with fish floss roll (ebiten floss maki). main dishes were cold udon (zaru udon) for her, and grilled salmon with cod roe (salmon mentaiyaki) for me. we finished off with a fish ice-cream (taiyaki) each.

my Maths tutor revealed our scores today because we asked for it. i'm super happy i got 91 :D i thought i would fare badly bcos we were matching answers after the paper and i seem to get the wrong answers. maybe i have working marks. haha. anyway the mean is about 80plus which means everyone scored well. yay!

Aimee received her first clue in the mailbox the day before. it goes something like this:

proceeded to the park after Aimee correctly guessed the place. it was after so many million hints! haha.

i wonder what's wrong with her cos the clues were placed in such obvious places. she can be looking at it, yet not see it.

feel a little bad, but their customer service was indeed intolerable. we were just reminding up to brush up! (:

Environmental Economics Midterm Results: i've got 0.53 points below mean even though it's a 'purely mathematical' paper. i'm upset but not sad. haha.

today is the last day of e-learning. i'm glad i learnt from my "reccess week mistake" and did not procrastinate less this week. i finished both Econometrics and Public Finance lectures. yay! otoh, i have not touched Transport Economics (most hated module now) and Maths.

my chocolate molten lava cake was a disaster ): i followed every single step carefully but the only thing i didn't do was to get ramekins. i used those soup bowls instead. what a waste.

the picture looks good so i'm going to post it anyway. haha. it became sort of like a moist-brownie-chocolate-cake.

my dearest brother decided to whip up his so called "best chinese chicken salad". a re-creation of the taste of CBTL's. i must say it's really good cos i asked for a second serving. yeh, that was all we had for lunch - a ball of romain lettuce. haha.

i'm quite pleased with the result cos it's my first attempt :D but there's still room for improvement like:
1) sieving the cocoa powder
2) whisking till mixture is smooth, not lumpy
3) find out how to have an even bake

even so, everyone said it tasted great. even bro!! haha.

happy mooncake festival!

this year is a little special because we've got 2 boxes of mooncakes free! :D

since mum passed on, we stopped buying mooncakes cos dad & bro don't really fancy them. i can't possibly finish a box of 4 so we just bought a piece to offer to mum.

dad received some Bengawan Solo vouchers some time back and he thought it would be nice to get some mooncakes this year.

all are traditional baked kind, not forgetting mum's favourite mixed nuts (伍仁).



dad's friend popped by 2 days ago and gave us another box! from Goodwood Park Hotel (:


tried both and concluded that Bengawan Solo's mooncakes are nicer (based on white lotus double yolk), but are equally fattening.
