and my bro installed Harvest Moon on his old phone (now mine) so that i can play when i'm bored. he is so nice!!

busy busy day! met Sabrina, Veralyn, Yushu & Siewhoon at 3plus in the afternoon and we went over to Kathy's chalet to help out with the food. busy thawing the frozen fish & prawn, cooking the potato salad & honeydew sago.

we are noisy people but we can cook! :D

i'm actually very proud of all the girls cos they helped alot despite being so playful. without them, i don't think i can cope in the kitchen alone. so once again, thankyou guidey mates! :D love ya'll!

after helping out in the kitchen, we went to help out with the BBQ. it was really non-stop work but such is the job of a chef. HAHAHA!

the food was overall good, considering that none of us was professional (: & Kathy, hope you had a blast!

celebrated Kathy's birthday at The Mind Cafe @ Boat Quay today. before Peisi jets off to Taiwan. it's a real simple celebration for we've run out of ideas. initial plan was to go ice-skating (Kathy's fav!) but we reckon it will be damn crowded on x'mas eve.

so we decided on playing games (indoors and sitting down). haha. surprisingly, the cafe was quite empty when we reached. which was a good thing (:


also did our gift exchange there. Sha got a notebook and wristlet for me. super loves it! ^^ thanks babe! and not forgetting the little souvenirs from KL even though the coin pouch stinks. hahaha.

phew, finally all of us turned 21. next year, we're back to simple bday affairs. it can be quite a chore to plan, prepare and execute bday surprises/celebrations. but it was all worthwhile this year (:

annual guides gathering today and this year, i'm the organiser. proposed kite flying at Marina Barrage but it was an obviously wrong choice cos it rained the whole day! ):

so we went to Cafe Cartel for lunch instead. Yushu so funny she accidentally told me that we'll be 'having cakes later on', which sort of spoilt the surprise. but i could've guessed cos Kathy was on the phone the whole time. but still, thankyou girls for the cake & all. appreciate it very very much :D


dinner with Thirteen at 313's Marche (: it was an awesome meet up even though a few of them couldn't make it.

sis Meh, Noi & i were the earliest so we camwhored like crazy. haha. super love sisters! :D the rest arrived and we went to queue for the food. damn long queue for everything but it was worth the wait. all food pics on FB. group photo with Rynel so gotta wait.

sis Meh & i got our bday gifts from them too. love all the stuff except maybe for the voodoo doll which was kinda weird. haha. will definitely use the red 2010 diary. super nice!

today, i turn 21. there's no fancy celebration with my family; just like any other years. dad told me there's nothing much to celebrate about. turning 21 just means that i'm now legally responsible for everything i do, and that i should really think twice before acting. but deep down, i know that my dad's sole reason for not wanting to celebrate this day, is because mum's not around anymore. really, it's not important whether or not i hold a celebration. it's more of who's by my side. fuckkk i can't stop my tears!

anyhow, i want to assure myself that mummy is watching me every minute, blessing this family and all my loved ones. i know it has been her biggest hope that i graduate from a local university. i'm on my way, mum!

for me, personally, i feel that i've already turned 21 three years ago. the moment mum left us, all the responsibility is on my dad. he is no longer young and will leave us one day. hence, i'm always prepared. i began to shoulder some responsibilities too. i leant to cook, clean, manage the family, take care of my brother (ya even though he is old enough), basically doing things i know many people my age are not even aware of.

so today, i turn 21 legally. nothing much to shout about, i still carry on my life like i did for the past 21 years (:

celebrated my birthday with Shingzers at Marina Barrage today! was actually looking forward to the green grass & kite flying but the girls decided on a pink picnic at the bridge instead. still, i enjoyed myself very very much :D

met the shingzers girlfs at 11 plus last night at Tamp macs. promised to bring supper but i forgot to bring it out -.- i made sushi for them! argh.

hopped onto the official SCSM yellow bus at 12am. reached Padang, collected our goodie bag & shirt, changed, and assembled at the field. this was the worst part of the event! cos we stood for like 2 hours plus while waiting for the official SCSM yellow bus to bring us to ECP. seriously, it was warm and crowded. what a torturous wait ):

at about 2 plus, supper arrived. luckily it was nice (: yummy fried bee hoon kept us happy but not for long. finally we couldn't stand (literally) it any longer so we opened up the poncho to sit.



i bet the people around us really longed to sit down like us but nobody copied us. hmmm i wonder why. anyway the grass was really muddy and wet, if you were wondering why we didn't sit.

the next hour or so passed by ok cos we started entertaining ourselves with some games. we were the second last group to leave. so ke lian!

reached ECP at nearly 4am and the weather was super cold! i thought we would have things to do. but i was wrong. the group leader told us what we were supposed to do, but then told us to rest. WTH. super waste time. luckily i brought poker cards.

and we tried inflating these cheer leading things.



only started work at 5.30am, when the full marathon runners were flagged off. we filled the cups with Ice Mountain and arranged them so that the runners could grab and go.

towards the end of the marathon, Aimee spotted that i have bird shit on my shirt. so i got her to wash it off for me. then we spotted she had bird shit on her hair! stupid bird.

so she thought of 07, and me, 17. but we didn't go buy cos we were so tired already and only wished to shower and sleep.

i really shouldn't be blogging today but i just had to!

worst day of my life. well, almost.

to start things off, i got lost while searching for the exam hall. it's tucked in some secluded area of the campus at PGP*. why must PGP be so big?? it's like a multi-storey version of Costa Sands Pasir Ris. of course i'd get lost. no wait. i was fine initially.

because the girl seated beside me in the bus was heading to the same venue. i know because she's in my tutorial. haha. so i tailed her. she got me safely into the premises of PGP, until i decided to visit the ladies cause it was still early. that's when i lost her!

when i emerged from the restroom, she was nowhere in sight.

with a poor sense of direction, i walked randomly into a lift and pressed 'MB'. i guessed it meant basement. but guess what?

at the said level, the lift door wouldn't open. imagine how frantic i was! i punched the 'door-open' button but the lift door just opened like 2cm.

that's it!

i was stuck in the lift just minutes before my exam.

"fuck, fuck, fuck," i muttered under my breath.

suddenly the door closed and the lift travelled back to level 1. i hurried out only to find myself back at square one.

okay, at least i got myself out of the darn lift!

wandered around for a while and realised i was really lost. so i resorted to texting my friend. even before she replied, i found a map. great!

but no matter how hard i stared at the map, i couldn't locate MPH**. heavens must be playing a trick on me ):

finally found it. thank goodness i wasn't late. but the worst wasn't over.

the paper was so damn freaking hard. okay, it was do-able provided i have more time. i was so shocked the Prof annouced, "you have fifteen minutes left".

wah, fuck.

handed in my script with a heavy heart. and as i attempted to walk out of PGP, i got lost again! yes, i'm dumb like that.

i actually walked right into some residences' gate. finally managed to get out after walking round and round.

as usual, it was damn conducive mugging in school. no laptop, no tv, no distractions. you look around, everyone else is studying. it kinda spurs me on (:

&&& greattt booster - my Environmental Econs project scored a 96.6%! :D i reckon that's an A. yippee! it sort of made me forget my Public Finance assignment was a grade C. haha.

first x'mas gift exchange planned. with animal kingdom! what animal am i anyway huh? LOL.

what am i doing? thinking about x'mas when i'm not even done with exams. rahhs.

random girlf movie date with bff today and we caught 2012. it's an awesome show! the touching scenes really made me cry. all in all it's a great movie so go catch it! :D



i thought i would start mugging today but i didn't. haha. cos i went to school for a review lecture which took up half my day. and then i thought i wouldn't go to FB today but i did! hahaha :D cos i wanted to "become a fan of" 2012. and also to wish sis Meh's bff, Roan, happy birthday. i know it's none of my business but i just wanted to. haha. i'm so nonsensical.

come tmr will be the start of reading week and i shall be very very disciplined this time round (: have already done up a revision schedule and i'm going to stick with it. of course it wouldn't be 24 hours mugging for the next 3 weeks, i've allocated leisure time as well, but i'm definitely not going to FB cos it's my number one major weakness. once i log in, that's it! haha. wish me luck everyone. and jiayou to all those studying too. we can do it! :D

projects finally submitted and to reward myself for the hardwork put into the projects, i'm going to watch episode 2 of Shanghai Sweetheart now! :D

boo. i have a throbbing headache. Environmental Econs project submitted and i'm really glad. this group of girls are so lovely to work with. i will miss Y because she's graduating already! and i'll miss H too, even those she's from China. but she's here on exchange so she doesn't pose as a threat to me. hahaha. plus, she is damn smart and damn pro in statistics which helped our project (:

thankfully i have made 2 friends, P and W. P is so funny & nice & down to earth. looking forward to take more modules with them.

anyway, that aside, i'm still not done with Transport Econs project. even though we planned to finish one week before deadline, it was impossible /: i suck at writing essays so this is one major crap. i have to keep re-doing ):

it is probably this insurmountable pressure building up inside my head, or maybe it's friday the 13th, that i'm feeling quite sick.

i hate M. seriously. do you know what happened this morning?

we have the habit of saving seats for each other for lectures, and whoever reached first will text the other on where she was sitting. this morning, i was late but i didn't receive any sms from her. i thought she was even later so i found a seat and texted her. but guess what?

she replied she was sitting with her friend at the ther end of the theatre. wah great. she didn't even bothered to let me know. i don't mind if she wanted to sit with her friend. i don't even mind that she did not save a seat. but at least have the coutesy to let me know? arghs.

at the end of the day, we had another lecture. we sat together along with P and L. while we were going off, she asked: "why you type so long, only type 3 pages?" (refering to our pairwork project)

WTF man. she sent me exactly 3 pages too!

fml, i hate school. but i will hang in there because tmr will be my last day of this semester. and because a couple of years down the road, i will forget all these shitty stuff.

my aunt bought a Samsung Pixon for my bro bcos his contract ended. it's so unfair! i only got a Samsung L700, which i still had to fork out $28, and won't stop rusting ): some of the bling-blings have also fallen off and it looks damn pathetic beside a brand new Pixon. roars.

it sucks to be at week 12 going 13. my desk is an avalanche of tutorials, readings and projects. it sucks even more when my dearest friends are having their holidays ): no amount of consolations or 'jiayou's can brighten my mood. i need to find some source of motivation. i will, and i can!

P & i have become better friends. we stayed in school till 8pm to do project together, and were quite satisfied with our progress. :D i still dislike M btw. roars.

i'm just done with all the preparation for tmr's party. yes, we're celebrating bff Peisi's birthday ^^ still left with some things to pack, which i will do tmr morning. it's gonna be awesome and i can't wait!

have completed my 2 most important tutorials for next week and will be typing out my Public Finance assignment after i'm done blogging.

come Monday will be week 12, which is the second last week of school. OH YEH! :D

it's so hard to find good true friends. i'm glad i have a few. and already very thankful for them (: you know who you are.

friendship stuff aside, i was discussing project with M today when she said "you're wrong! this is wrong! what you are saying is xxx but it's not!" all in a very forceful & debate-y tone. i was so angry! i can't stand the way she always thinks she's right. like all high and mighty above all. she still can complain to me about other people /:

well, what to do, i landed myself into a no U-turn situation. just gotta stick with it till end of the semester. speaking of which, we are in week 11 already! the last week of school is week 13. omg.

having an evening meeting tmr for another project /: but at least there's P! my favourite friend in school thus far. hehe.

met sis Noi at PS to get Joel's bday gift yesterday and it was so damn crowded! Lee Min Ho was supposedly there for some Etude House opening but i didn't catch sight of him. haha. took a bus down to Joel's place but Chunhwee & sis Meh were late. so Sharon, Noi & i were like 3 children stranded by the roadside :P
