so we waited for the free shuttle bus. which took us very very long. and zirong called to complain out "5 minutes" took forever. sisMEH max me enjoyed the songs played in the bus :P arrived at T3 to be bullied by biantai zirong who started his crazy acts!


took random photos & max insisted that he wasnt drunk (by beer). we all just love to bully max, dont we? :D sisMEH & i were super hungry so we headed to kopitiam for breakfast!

during the check-in, we laughed at each other's passport & luggage. and wanteng is joyous that max's luggage is very light! (she can squeeze in more goodies from bangkok!) and i lied to joel that we prepared a souvenir and insisted that he open it when he reached bangkok (for good luck) dumbass, its only a stack of coaster! :P

meh & i prepared our *surprise. took group photo :) headed to pacific coffee to watch our little video. but i guess the environment wasnt quite appropriate (with C.H. gathering around too), the mood wasnt quite right, so somehow, it didnt turn out as meh & i expected. but im really glad you people could watch it. teared at the last part when we sang kbox together. sisNOI teared too :')

poly life has come to an end. i really treasure this friendship, this special bond. no words, pictures or even video can express how thankful i am, to have meet you people. the joy, the laughter, the dumb acts, the craziness, and so much more. every single moment spent with you guys is truly memorable and i will never forget them. we dont know what the future holds for us, but i know that we will still keep in contact after this. i just know it :)

oh nightmare! why does it always strike the same time as sis noi? please STOP texting me! and QUIT bothering me! roar!!

train-ed to school super early in the morning. and yes, it will be my last duty in SP. these 3 years had been hell lot of great fun! and im glad to have met the nicest bunch of people, & especially thirteen! whom i miss so terribly right now! :')

reached the convention centre at 8plus and collected nametags.


since it was damn early on a saturday morning, there was practically no "customers" for us to entertain. who'd bother to wake up at such an hour just to come for course counselling?!

so we stood around and pretended we were busy. immediately whipped out a notebook and pen for hangman & doodles! :)


breakfast at koufu at 9plus.


back to the convention centre and continued with hangman. i guess the fengshui wasnt that good over at the table we stood cos all the students&parents avoided us! and i definitely dont want to approach them and end up looking at an idiot when i cant answer their questions.

so we headed for refreshments (lunch) instead! :) food was already mostly gone at 11plus but i love the chao tar bee hoon the most! yums..


saw bencho and joined him at a table (where there's seats!) sat down and talked for abit before realising he was briefing a new lecturer - from india, will be teaching a module in DFI. joined in the briefing cos the new lecturer was totally blur! he dont even know what does L1R4 means. and that there's only A1 and A2, no B1 and B2. hahs. cant blame him though.

it was a terrific conversation cos bencho revealed stuffs that lecturers do. all the behind-the-scenes kinda things. and he kept complaining about our daddy (urghs) and he also said that lecturers have 2 shifts for work - 8AM to 6PM or 8.30AM to 6.30PM. i actually blurted out "omg thats so lame! stupid.."

LOLS! dont blame me ok. who'd count that as TWO shifts?

bencho told the new lecturer lotsa stuff like...

hehs. cos to pass, you need 3.5 upon 5. & bencho has a high high rating! ;) well-liked.

also talked about what route to take after poly life. like getting a local degree, working, or going abroad. tough decisions to make in life sometimes...

he said its quite tough for me to enter uni cos my GPA is too low! 3.4something :/

anyways, just have to wait for my final GPA, hopefully able to pull to 3.5!

oh, did i mention that bencho said 09 is the best class in our batch of DBA students?! ITS TRUE OK!!! omg :D :D :D like "best class to teach as voted by lecturers"

back to the convention centre duty at 1plus. this time, we changed fengshui and moved to another table. immediately, we were approached by students&parents with enquiries. bencho sabo-ed me with DFI (yet again). i think i should apply for the post of Assistant Course Manager of DFI, since i know the diploma quite well now. heehee :P

most peopla who came didnt do well enough to enter a course of their choice and had to let courses choose them instead. its pretty upsetting.. :(

zirong came soon after and i was superly happy!! :D i miss him so much!

and thirteen too!! omg, i wana cry..

nonetheless, its good to keep in contact with nice people like bencho & howardyap cos you never know when you might need their help. they're super nice somemore!

arent there times when you're walking alone, and you suddenly thought of something nice, something fond, something which makes you smile? and then you smile all the way, ignoring all the dumb faces people give you, all the weird stares. and you finally have to bite your lips, in order to force them back together, and quit looking crazy. heehee.

my first job interview.

time: 9.20am
venue: CAAS level 4
position: human resource officer

i suppose i did pretty well today, considering the fact that it was my first full formal interview (despite holding 4 jobs previously) with a panel of three interviewers! it started off with a personality test which consists 200 over questions. at about question 50, i gave up thinking about the answer and input "neutral" for most.

format was to select 1 as strongly disagree and 5 as strongly agree.

questions include:
x i have a messy room.
x i like to try new foods.
x i like having authority over others.
x i like routine work.

absolutely common questions when you're applying for a HR position.

this was followed by an essay question, where i have to "write in 250 words about a goal that you set at work/school and how you go about achieving it."

waited for about 20 minutes before i was called in. i was first candidate and you can imagine how tense i was!

interview questions include:
x why HR?
x what trainings and courses did you assisted in in Moto.
x why dont you go back to Moto?
x tell me more about your business.
x what is the main challenge of your business.
x how are you graded for your final year?
x how did you think your partners graded you?
x any evidence of you being initiative?
x do you intend to further your studies?

i guess that sums up my whole interview, which lasted for about 1.5 hours. screwed up at the last bit, cos they were looking for a permanent full-time person. and i actually mentioned that i will be going to university in august?!

dumb.

anyway, it was a fantastic experience for me. i think i will do better in future interviews! :)

lunch at terminal 3 popeye's with SMF! and we both felt the standard and quality of food dropped! no honey for biscuit! mashed potato not warm enough! chicken pieces were reduced to half the original size!



but... we still had fun eating & talking :)

train-ed to expo for the crowne plaza interview but i hate the haughty girl who attended to us! she said we were not properly dressed (cos we changed into tees and shorts and slippers) and emphasised that "OURS IS A FIVE STAR HOTEL!"

went to the john little sale instead. but the queue at the cashier was too long so we gave up shopping.

train-ed to chinatown! :)

the boys selling mua-chee are disgusting! they use microphones and loud hailers to attract attention and kept offering us free samples to try. one even wanted me to catch as he threw a mua-chee over. he shouted "xiao2 jie3, jie1 zhao1!"

supposed to wait for transport at 11AM at buonavista station but due to certain miscommunication and whatnot, i had to go to NUS myself. & yes, im super proud to say that i managed to take the correct bus, alight at the correct stop, and find my way to the bazaar! yay :D 3 cheers to qin!

upon reaching, helped sisnoi to set up. face turned black when i saw boss! hope it doesnt show but i know it myself that my mood was bad bad bad :/
