omg i thought the nightmare was over already? why did it come back? i didnt reply the sms and that was like aeons ago. made me so f up the whole day and i was having a bad mood at work. deleted you from my msn but you returned. how come?? arent you supposed to be in the army? i thought i'd be safe. book out? whats book out? how come you can book out? why dont they keep you inside there longer. im not free. dont ask me please.

system hanged at a quarter past two. clusters under servers 28, 29 and 30 were all affected. i was in 29. newbies were herded out of the training room as runners collecting our manual booking slips. manpower was activated from sales to help answer the calls. dispatch room couldnt receive any system booking made. had to write ALL details including customers' name, contact number, pick-up address, destination code, product code, line-one instructions, time shipment is ready, closing time of the office, my name, my extension by hand! all these increased our AHT resulting in more than 300 abandoned calls in a mere couple of hours. panic across the department when customers start asking for freight charges & all. fingers going numb as we filled up pages of the cheque book. equivalent to writing a ten-page essay. couriers on the road were not receiving jobs on their hand-held devices on time. many late pick-ups and instances of NTY which resulted in an even higher call queue. following that were customers' concerns that shipments would be off-loaded. front line manager looked so helpless. she knows nothing about the system. ended up taking drinks for us. haha. everyone was required to do extended OT. service level dropped from a global standard of 90% to 1%.

hahaha. i had always wanted to write a food review but didnt have the motivation to... until today. i dont know why. but anyway this is NOT a food review la. just some crappy feedbacks about mogu mogu.

jap restaurant with a "new" self service concept.

2 vending machines to place your order. touch screen style. just select what you want and insert coins & notes into the machine. interesting.

waitress will be there to guide. and machine dispenses change as well.

BUT.

the food is average. feels like eating those pre-packed jap food just heated up from the microwave. portion is small and taste ok only. quite expensive & i really would prefer yoshinoya.

alrighttt, all the unhappy things aside, ytd was max's last day after 2 years with the company. he bullies me (A HELL LOT) but i guess he's a damn good teamlead too. all of us miss him la. i think he is the only teamlead who doesnt mind me asking all the dumb questions, even though i call him si fei zhu at work. so rude i know! ha ha ha. and being so concerned when i fell sick and when customers scold me. and thats bcos he's MY teamlead. {i wonder who's taking over? :/}

nobody to steal my sweets & chocos now. nobody to smack my head when i commit stupid errors now. nobody to audit my calls and make sure i learn from lousy calls now. sigh.

okay saturday was a whole day out celebrating yushu cassandra weili bday. planned on sentosa but the weather didnt cooperate. so we surprised each of them at their homes instead. each carrying a balloon and flower for the entire day.


lunch at yushu house plus all the cake-cutting (we baked our own blackforest!) & gift-giving. slacked till we were late for settlers. cabbed down to north canal road. settlers was boring (i think) as compared to previously :/


dinner at pepper lunch was great :D and bused home.


accompanied bro for ktv on sunday at the same ulu place in katong. wanted to have the grilled fish again but western stall was closed. bused back to tampines for grilled fish instead :P


oh yes the nightmare has striked back. so super horrifying. yeh the same nightmare in entcon times :/

monday to friday was work. yeh what else?

oh and our department declared casual day EVERYDAY till end july to appreciate our efforts of pulling up the service level despite the many ups & downs happening recently. plus 2 movie tickets each!! :D

and friday was the thirteenth. so super eventful.

everyone was so shocked to see me sniffing and all. and kenneth & my sup settled the case for me.

damn the customer. making me feel so lost & nervous & scared. i was already controlling my emotions very very hard. but end up, i still lost to someone who screams & shouts & demands.

and also had a great steamboat dinner with peisi aimee kathy at tanjong katong road.
