Had BBQ at Meh's place yesterday, and it was fun, fun, FUN! =) A pity that Max wasn't present though.
Anyway, yesterday morning I was super-hyper! I called Meh and lied that I was already at her doorstep! LOL. You can hear that she was really
shocked!! =p She even got her bro to check if there was anyone outside. HAHAHA!
At about 11plus, I packed everything into 2
BIG bags and took a shower. At about 12, I left for Meh's house. I wanted to bring an umbrella but before I left my house, it wasn't raining. Furthermore I had to carry 2 BIGBAGS, how to hold an umbrella?? =p
I was happily walking to the bus stop, feeling very happy. =) Then all of sudden, at about 5metres away from the bus stop, it started pouring! Gosh. I couldn't run because of the 2 BIGBAGS and I was wearing slippery-slippers. I won't want to look like an idiot if I slipped. =p My hair wasn't even dry yet and the rain just made it wetter. +.+
Sweet Meh came to Rumbia to shelter me. =) Reached her house just in time for lunch! And my arm was already half-broken! Cause the day before played badminton with Meh. *^^* And the both of us like so damn long never touch sports already. So naturally we were aching all over. Wahaha!
Had lunch with Meh and her bro while watching TV and discussing about World Cup and that 9pm show (CID or something like that?). Talk about multi-tasking. =p After lunch, we soaked the sushi rice and went to decorate the paper cups! When the rice was cooked, we went NTUC to buy the necessary ingredients. And meh, if you're reading this, tell your mum! IF SHE DON'T WANT TO ACCEPT OUR MONEY, WE'RE
NEVER GOING BACK THERE FOR BBQ EVER AGAIN! I mean it! Not ever again! Heard me?!
Ok, I don't really mean it la. But can you just ask her to accept like a token of $10 or something? We all feel very guilty ok? =)
After the marketing, which made my arm three-quarter-broken, we went back her house to make sushi! Delicious sushi. =p And we both shouted chen gong!! Wahaha. It was fun! And I was very very happy. =) The sushi was a success! YAY! wan sui!!
And I was telling Meh, don't know whether people will come anot? Cause the weather was rather bad. Raining non-stop. And as her bro said
chang ming yu. Geez. Although I didn't say it out loud, I was kinda worried that no one will turn up!
At 6pm, we went down to set the fire. And congrats, xiao Edwin! You've mastered the skill of fire setting! Haha. Thank goodness he was there to help us cause, although I
was a Guide, I'm really bad at setting up a fire. LOL. Feel so ashamed! Ahhhh! I MUST learn! =p
After 2 or 3 failed attempts, we gave up. Haha. It's not that we were not determined ok? It's just that if we continued failing, our dinner would be most likely at 10pm, or even later! =p
So... being naturally 'clever', we lifted the top 2 layers of the pit and place the wire mesh right on top of the fire. Direct contact! The food was cooked within minutes! Heheh. But the fire kept going off and we can't fan cause the food will get contaminated. Dotx! Anyway, I left the cooking part to Meh and bro. Thanks guys! The rest of us sometimes helped here and there, otherwise we just
gossiped talked! =)
Again, Tang was hot topic! Hahaha. Whenever we meet up, we HAD to talk about him. That BBM! =p And Neo.com announced good news! LOL. =p Ting, that racist MRT joke is funny ok? They don't know how to appreciate!
And I think MY JOKES ARE FUNNY! For the entire BBQ I was being shot left, right and centre! WTH. People, where are your sense of humour? HA.
I also played with little chubby boy - Joel. I think that's his name, if I heard right. He's super cute alrights? But it can be very tiring playing with children. Their energy level is forever maximum. I think I'm getting old. =p
All in all, we had an enjoyable evening. =)
