no school

Yesterday was super tiring cause our whole school had to do flag day. Ok, not the whole school but the whole batch of us - year 1s. We covered the whole of Singapore, hoping to collect as much money as possible (it's for charity, so we must do our best). My class was posted to Tanjong Pagar and I tell you, it was one of the worst flag days ever. We were in the advanced party, which means we had to assemble at 7.30am but out class facs were very lazy (just like our class) so we decided to meet at 8am instead. Haha.

The working adults are really one kind. They've got a sucky attitude. One guy even scolded us - early in the morning haven't start work you still ask me for money! Hey, c'mon, it's for CHARITY! And even if you have a black heart and don't wanna donate, you can always say 'no' politely. Or maybe your parents didn't teach you that? Then I guess I can't blame you. Anyway, my friend even got a guy who puffed smoke into her face. WTH. I THINK THOSE PEOPLE ARE BARBARIANS. Ok, negative stuff aside, I have to admit that perhaps, I got the pathetic face. I came in second in class collection, with a total of $74.26. =) Good huh? The top was JW who got $113+. All in all, it was exhausting and most of us were pissed off, but I think I've done a good deed that day. *grinning from ear to ear*

After the flag day, I went back to Hai Sing and guess who I saw? SY! Wahahaha! But I think the more I look at him, the more I think he's just ok. Nevertheless, still glad that I saw him. =) Oh, and HM and YS too! It's been such a long time since I last met them.

Today's a slack day for me. NO SCHOOL! Yay. It can be really tiring to go to a school that far everyday k? I'm beginning to get tired of it. But SP still rocks! No regrets going there. XD Was supposed to go out to Kat to get my sneakers but end up she had to study for Mid Year Exams. Called TL but he's schooling (so sad. Haha.) Called Fel but she's going out with her sister so it's just me, myself and I. Sian.

Can't wait for school to start! PACC seems simple. Smiles.

Oh! People, please join Sports Club! Esp those super hyper active sort! Sports Club ROX!

day two

Ok. Today's day two of Orientation. All's well. Much to my surprise, it wasn't that boring. Some of the advisors (or so you call them) were really funny. Funny as in they kept talking lame crap stuff. But that's good, at least we don't feel stress. Oh, and we were supposed to meet out PTN today but ours is on MC. Argh. So I guess my class will have to wait till school officially starts before we can meet our PTN.

We had Mr & Ms SB pageant in the late morning. I think the winners seriously deserve to win. I mean, the guy is so good looking. Got that cute + handsome look. Like xiao-shuai-ge. LOL. The girl not too bad also. Oh, btw, the guy is none other than Matthew (ya know, our SPSSC FO Camp Sports Boy). Think he's damn famous now la, everyone knows him.

P.S. Did I mention that Felicia Chin was filming on our campus today. Her make up was too much la, like so fake. =P

orientation

Went for orientation today. I know many schools officially start classes today but sp is slow. Haha. Whatever. Give me more time to rest. I'm a slacker!

Orientation was ok. We got to know which classes we belong to. I'm not that alone after all. This girl who is in the same camp group as me turns out to be my classmate. So three cheers for me. Haha. My classmates are all alright. Hope they remain that way. Anyway, I'm nominated for class treasurer again! HAHA! After three years of counting money... =D

Played some games together - it was supposed to bond us together. Our class lost in every single game except for one which we did extremely well. The game master was so shocked at our score that he kept asking the helpers if any of us cheated. But you can't blame us. We're naturally GOOD! LOL.

Tomorrow will be the boring day. We'll get to know our PTN (Personal Tutor Network). And listen to all the departmental talks. B-O-R-I-N-G. *I'm dreading it*

Oh, btw, I saw Jie Yu, Hafiz, Alrina, Deborah, Jun Xian (not sure about his name but he's the 5N guy from hscs) and Kang Yong.

whatever

Just came back from my camp – SPSSC FO Camp rocks my socks! Promised Fel that I’d type the details out so she can read but so sorry, I’m really dead tired and super lazy so here are just some of the highlights of the camp. Hope you don’t mind? =X

Day one
`Was late. LOL. But heck, a lot of others were as well.
`Started off with some orientation games. First game was gross – I practically had to kiss the guy beside me to get the pockey stick in his mouth cause the stick was only 1cm long. Eww. Second game was less disgusting – we were supposed to pass rubber bands using straws that were either in our mouth or between our toes. The girls had to hold the straws in their mouth while the guys had to hold it between their toes. I pity those girls whose guys are with smelly feet. Haha.
-We were being divided into different families (groups). Our mummy was WY and our daddy was Tata.
-Had to play some bonding games with our family to get to know one another better. I admit I’m slow cause I lost 2 games in a row. >.< Then we had to come up with a name and a cheer and a flag for our family. We are the Athen. Other family names include Banas, Sexy Mama, Amber, Jiao Lang, Heaven, Airborne and er, Gangho, I think.
-Next, we played another orientation game to get to know our school better. There were 10 checkpoints and we had to complete a task at each station. The game was super tiring. For those of you who’ve been to SP, you should know how big the school is. Imagine having to run round that school!
-At night, we played Final Destination. Each family was further divided into groups of five. You’re supposed to walk around and spot the good people. Ask them 2 questions and from their answers, you have to deicide if their good or bad people. If they’re the good people, ask them to take you to the final destination. But if they’re bad, and you still ask for the final destination, they’ll bring you to jail. Not too bad, the game was rather fun. =) And that was day one for you. Oh btw, I saw Jerelyn there – think she was attending another camp.

Day Two
`We played sort of like a telematch where we had to compete against other families. During the dog-and-bone game, I fell down! Sob. That damn person la, he shouted 1 2 3 4 5 all at one go and we really cheong ar. LOL.
`After that, we played water games. I didn’t participate cause I didn’t want to contaminate the pool. Haha. The first station was in the baby pool where you have to wade and find items in the pool. Second station was at the normal 1.5m pool. Played captains ball. The third station was at the 2m pool where they played canoe polo. From my point of view, it was mega fun but they told me it was damn difficult to maneuver the canoe cause it keeps capsizing.
`In the evening was another telematch in the sports hall. The sequence goes like this:
1. Each family had to eat 5 slices of bread.
2. Then, do the ‘The side, the side’ dance.
3. Form a human pyramid and sing ‘Twinkle, twinkle little stars’.
4. Recite a tongue twister that goes – Beat billy oden doden boiboi de diden duden dae.
`At night, we had the night walk which was all right. Not that scary. But I screamed though. LOL. Cause it was very sudden and I totally didn’t expect it. But I nearly cried when we were supposed to walk through the staff room. It was air-conditioned and pitch dark. And my mummy and another GL warned that this was the scariest part. But I think the seniors were afraid that we’d have heart attack so they went lenient on us. Phew! But it was good, one of the best night walks ever, cause there were lots of true stories and it was very real.

Day Three
`Another telematch thing. But I didn’t participate cause it was very violent. Just cheered my team on. Haha.
`This day was rather slack cause everyone was already super-mega-very-damn tired. Most of the time we were gossiping (it’s my family’s favourite hobby ^^), playing frequency games, preparing for the Shim Night and Farewell Performance.
`At night we had the Shim Night. It was SO funny. The Shims were actually quite pretty. I was impressed by Lollipop (his/her name). My daddy was last year’s Shim Night champion so he performed that night as well. Some of the things that took me by surprise – the girls actually brought bikinis, eye shadow, lipstick and female condom to camp. One Shim wore a panty liner as well. Totally steady! But I didn’t quite like the winner – Lulu. He/she wasn’t very Shim-like.
`After that was Disco Night. I thought everyone would dance or even if you don’t know how to, just move to the beat. But alas! Everyone started running around, some sat down, some families started cheering. Huh? But Su took my hand and we began dancing at one corner near the speaker so as to obtain the surround-sound effect. Soon, 2 more Malay girls joined us, and then the male version of us came and danced with us. I was so paiseh cause my dancing totally sucks. Argh. But I really tried being a good sport. Then the GLs spotted us and get everyone to form a circle around us. Su was so pissed that she shouted ‘Eh, you all join us leh. We not free show you know!’ Some daddies and mummies started to dance also but the other freshies just clapped. I felt so extra. Firstly, it’s because those dancing were Malays, not that I’m a racist but I felt weird. Secondly, I felt as though people were looking and commenting, not that I care much but I felt awkward.
`I was so tired after dancing that I fell asleep straight away. LOL.

Day four
`We went to Holland Village for treasure hunt. It was ok, cause by that time our family was down to only 9 with a couple more sick but stayed on. We nicknamed ourselves the lazy sickly gossipers. LOL.
`The afternoon was spent gossiping (as usual) and rehearsing for the farewell performance. I think our family did ok. It was a skit about how we kept gossiping and subsequently lost our flag (I’ll explain the flag part later). And also gossiping bonded us together. Lame right? I know. Ok, the flag thing. Each family had a flag and the seniors’ job was to actually steal our flags so we had to do a forfeit to get it back. Ok, we broke the record – our flag was stolen the most. Bleah.
`At the end, awards were given out. I was extremely pleased that Matthew and Jessie won the sports boy and sports girl respectively (cause I think the other nominees cannot make it).
`And yup, that was SPSSC FO Camp ’05 for you! XD

My opinions: I really really don’t like some people from the camp. I think they suck big time. But I don’t want to say who la. It’s not good to say. What if they’re reading my blog right this minute and decide to sue me. Er, better safe than sorry. But as far as I’m concerned, I don’t bother them, they don’t piss me. And I don’t think I’m going to see them for the rest of my life so I think I’ll let this matter rest. No point going on and on about them. Just hope our paths don’t cross.

unlucky

Gosh I hate rainy days. Seems like everything has gone wrong. Was supposed to go shopping with Aimee yesterday but turned out that I had a terrible headache and slept through the day. Sorry girl. Promise we'll go out sometime soon. =)

And when I'm feeling better today, Aimee can't make it. So I'm going out with Fel. But it started raining! Soon after that, almost everything seemed to go wrong. I didn't want to go through the hassle of opening up my umbrella, so I took a short cut by walking across a muddy path. Ya, and my slippers is soiled now. Should have worn an old pair of slippers instead. Argh. Ok, I learnt my lesson and open my umbrella immediately, and you know what? Along came a strong gust of wind and turned my umbrella upside down. Everyone turned and stared. How embarrassing!! I swear I'm never gonna go out on a rainy day.

Oh, by the way. Can I know who's in DBA/FT/1B? My friends are all in 1A. I'm a loner. Help! I'm so not looking forward to school now. =(

For those who want to earn extra cash, listen up, I've got a lobang here. Need a person to helpout at a store located at Bukit Timah Avenue 6. Anyone interested let me know ya?

sobx

Boo hoo hoo. I just found out that my timetable and Peisi's differ. Argh. What luck. And I still thought maybe we might end up in the same class. But it turned out that our lectures and tutorials are totally different. And the worst thing is that I have lecture first thing in the morning on Monday. Just can't imagine what it would be like to sit through a 3-hour lecture with a theatre full of unfamiliar faces. Darn!

Anyway, got a riddle here to share.

The Americans are clever people. They are the first in everything. So one day, they sent a rocket into outerspace and the astronauts were supposed to take down notes of what they discover. However, due to the lack of gravity, they found out that it was impossible to write with a pen. So the smart alecks decided to invent a pen that can be used even without gravity.
At the same time, the Russians also sent out a rocket and they, too, encountered the same problem. However, they are not as advanced as the Americans, yet they could still get the job done. So how did they manage to do it?

I'll reveal the answer in the next entry. Meanwhile, you can put your guesses in my tagboard! =)

today

Today

Had Japanese food for lunch again. It was at Sunaki (Sin Ming Plaza). The food was not bad except that the portions were really huge. So if have a small stomach, its better to share or order a la carte. Anyway, my main purpose of mentioning the lunch is not to talk about the food but to complain! Argh. They were saying that another girl will be replacing me while I went back to study. Her name's ******** (I actually typed her name then decided not to cause I'll be revealing her pay in a while-which I'm not supposed to but who cares) . And her job is damn EASY! She'll just have to come in three times a week, preferably Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. And she just needs to sort things out, basically just help those who need help. Duh. But that's beside the point because I do exactly what she is going to do. The main things is the pay. She'll be paid $13 per hour (when I only get a pathetic $6). How fair is that? Plus she gets to get two days to rest at home. Wth. That makes her monthly pay add up to $1248 for freaking admin girl job. Plus she'll get OT pay and whatever not. Damn!

nearly lost my hp

Tuesday

Goodness! Nearly lost my mobile today. Went to the library and I left my mobile in the... ladies. =S I was like so frantic and ok, to cut the long story short, I wanna thank the Good Samaritan who returned my mobile. =)

To the person who found my mobile in Tampines Regional Library (ladies), THANK YOU! =D

had not been blogging

Had not been blogging for quite sometime cause I was busy doing farewell gifts for my colleagues. You know what? Today was suppose to be my last day. But when I returned to my office today, my boss requested to extend me till this Friday. Argh. So much so for rushing the gifts and feeling so happy. Anyway, when I came in with a big bag of gifts today, my colleagues were really caught bu surprise. Firstly, they didn't expect 'xiao mei mei' to buy presents for all of them. Secondly, they all forgot that it was my last day! Except Sham. Well, no big deal. I'm just a nobody here.

Nearly cried. When I passed Karen her little bag, she said "What's that? Goodness! So cute! Still got gifts ar? Oh my God, don't make me cry leh." And I nearly cried. Reminds me so much of the farewell night last year. For guides, I mean. The farewell night for the graduates was not even memorable. Anyway, I remembered crying so much that my eyes were all puffed and red and swollen. Passers-by kept staring. Waitaminit. Is it passers-by or passer-bys. Ok, my language is not that good. That sad feeling suddenly came to me today. Woah! People were treating me like SUPER good. ^^ Suddenly, I just felt like staying on forever and ever. Now, not! It was just at that moment. When everyone says "keep in touch", "we'll miss you", "take care" and blah, blah, blah...

Counting down to my REAL last day. FRIDAY. XD
