despite scoring a record high of 3.8, my cumulative gpa only adds up to 3.479. oh well, and i thought my fifteen credit units module can help. i hope its enough to get me a place in any local universities!


izzat is getting weirder by the days (think max) he keeps muttering "warnock" and calls us "warnock-ians". i suspect he is obsessed with the football coach, going to yap island. yes we are going crazy!

received max's sms in the midst of training and i laughed out! gees. cant help it. a weird password for a weird man. and to think sisMEH and i cracked our brains to think of his password yesterday night. if only we knew his frequency aint that easy to match! hahaha. joking la.

CS kickoff meeting held today at 1835hours in the canteen with free dinner provided. i must say its quite delicious! the CS department gives me this very homely feel. although we're the second biggest department, it seems like everyone knows everyone else. wolf whistles, chants of "hug, hug" and "kiss, kiss" can be heard from all over during the prize presentation.

managers dont seem like managers as they mingle around with.. gasp, us! the new hires. even the country manager talks to us and dines with us. supervisors gets cheers from respective teams members. yay. power up is an award recipient! the whole atmosphere was lively and funny. cute people :P

right, an attempt failed. nevertheless, we still managed. who cares about not sitting together. i really cant predict the system. perhaps, just perhaps, a miracle? like how rynel miraculously registered.

gina and i forgot to thumb-scan out yesterday after work. alisa was unhappy. nevertheless, she said it was alright as we're still in training mode :) drank bitter herbal tea in an attempt to rid my sore throat but i ended up going to the ladies a hundred times today. we did more role-plays and i had mind-maps & post-it notes plastered all over my work area, hoping for an improvement! didn't visit the mobile roadshow during lunch cos we all wanted to polish up our CS skills :) went to the gym after work with wati & shaeen. sweat it out! yay. took the bus to bedok without showering so i must have stinked alot. dinner was bread. good luck good luck! our very final poly GPA will be out in hours!

reached home to find bro sulking at the sofa. then realised he had been rotting at home due to electrical maintenance at my block, thus he was deprived of TV & PC. to add on, he just went for an operation (the same one i had 4 years back) recently and it was inconvenient for him to travel. poor boy.

just about 7pm, surrounding flats got lit up so dad decided to pop by our neighbours' to see if their electricity returned, cos my house was getting darker! to his surprise, every unit was brightly lit with TV on & all. he then realised our power supply tripped -.- i guess bro must be super frustrated as the day was wasted by just listening to his mp3 and playing sudoku. but then again, he learnt the importance of electricity. literally cant live without it!

we're moving on faster and faster, more and more indepth, and seeing the big picture now. we combined scripting and systems together and made a mess out of it. but still, we had fun practicing with one another and laughing about everything, anything. you. me? no, you. who, me? it cracks me up! and yes, i finally know who's rynel's aunt :) who works at DHL too.

my ang moh name has finally been approved after three tries. submitted shernice first. but was rejected as the pronounciation sounded like some-other-name. then i tried shayne. but was rejected again without any reasons. at the last resort, i put in shantel. and... wowwee! it got approved :D so now im known as shantel at the workplace :)

i have also been posted to team power up! i feel happy cos i have a nice supervisor and i actually smiled at her today! yay :D izzat has been posted to team PKL. wati to team zoom zoom. shaeen to team hi-5. and regina (now known as gina) to team ohana. yes, we will be in different teams but its ok, cos we're still is CS.

we also registered our thumbprints today. which means that we will sign in and sign out to and from work by scanning our thumbs at the scanner. also got my employee ID! :)

met SMF, whom very willingly accompanied me to school and pack and carry all the things with me. thanks girl! you're appreciated! ^^ loves.

cabbed to high street and the driver didnt know where was that! we had to resort to flipping his street directory in search of the road name and exact location. finally found it to be beside the treasury but of cos, he didnt understand. i told him it was at clarke quay but he didnt believe and insisted it was at merchant road. i had totally no idea whatsoever where it was! but luckily he managed to find his way and we arrived safely (passing through both clarke quay & merchant road!) hahaha :D

so we were all right..

after settling all the stuff, we cabbed to my home. the cab had an overpowering smell of medicated oil used for foot massage! smf & i were like holding our breaths! & laughters. until the driver broke the silence but talking & complaining about... singapore. thats the favourite topic of 99% of singapore taxi drivers! LOLS.

the humourous politics: he mentioned that we had legalised mafias all around, who Everyday Rob People. drivers on the road had to support the transportation system by paying More Road Tax. we have to Pay And Pay all bcos Why Pay went bankrupt. whoever is the Stupid Idiot Monkey can go eat Fresh Oranges.

hahaha! if you dont understand, its ok, bcos i can be jailed for writing everything clearly :/ smf loves it though! lalala.

put down all the stuff at my house and smf's hands are trembling (cos they are so heavy)! she cant even hold a cup. haha. we munched on CNY goodies and played viwawa :D

yesterday was great, and so was yesternight :D

DAY
started off with training. then we had quiz. first was the service area code quiz, whereby alisa would say brisbane and i have to answer BNE (the three-letter-code) after we were done with about 90 of them, proceeded to second part quiz. which was open-ended. last part was a presentation. each given a marker and mahjong paper. and to go up and pretend to be a teacher. and "teach" the class on whatever topic alisa assigned to us :/

after everything ended, we were so relieved we kept laughing cos it was actually quite stress & tense! and alisa said im the top scorer! wheeee :D

in the late afternoon, we had buddy attachment. i was partnered with rohaya. a very nice lady who's very experienced too. some interesting calls:

yeh, all the above are considered weird, cos it not for normal booking or enquiries. kinda funny too :D

NIGHT
took the shuttle bus to payalebar at 5pm while sisMEH was still at hougang. and i thought i could still walk around while waiting. but when i reached bugis, sisMEH texted to say she reached too! haha. weird.

anyway, we were deciding which yu sheng to buy. choosing between sakae sushi, thai express and MOF, we finally decided on MOF :D head over to xian de lai first to settle down while waiting for the rest. but everyone was late! haha.

sisMEH and i went and waited for sisJO (to walk over from bugis mrt alone!) the guys were on their way. soon after, sharon & wanteng arrived too. then the guys. then sisNOI.

had four soup bases - spicy fish / chicken & pork / duck / sichuan :D and the ingredients were ordered were in 10's. haha. cos if you order 1 plate, it will just come in 1 piece!

dinner started off by updating each other on what we're doing. im working full time and they tried to guess my salary. sisMEH is a taitai, but a taitai who does housework. sisJO is working part time at CDC and her TP is coming soon! wanteng is watching her dramas and being a taitai too! ^^ sharon is starting work soon. zirong is relief teacher at qiaonan primary. rynel is busy dating. joel is troubled by "no income". chunhwee is a gambler but retiring soon, going to take over singapore pools. sisNOI is a PR consultant with her own namecard! *gasp*

ok la, being a nice girl, i shall advertise for joel. whoever interested to learn swimming / piano, please tag! haha. handsome young teacher :D

basically we laughed & talked alot. as usual. very noisy bunch of people :) and my chinese deproved! i cant communicate with xian de lai staff. omg :/ and sisMEH almost forgot how to write 小! LOLS.

overwhelmed by giddyness when i woke up but i still dragged myself to school. yes, singapore poly, to tie up loose ends in our "office". sisNOI was late for thirty-plus minutes but i didn't dare go to EIC myself in case i faint on the way. so i waited & waited until someone from behind shouted "xin nian kuai le!" LOLS.

just as we stepped into EIC, sisTING called to say she reached dover already. can you imagine how late sisNOI was? i forgive your tummyache. hahaha.

decided to order mcdelivery. but one bite into the fillet-o-fish made me wanna vomit. so i threw away the whole burger and had curly fries & milo instead. what as expensive meal!

in the midst of clearing our cubicle, we had a real great catching up, mostly talks about work. sisTING & i are now competitors! TNT vs DHL :P

packed into 6 big bulky heavy bags and we decided to cab down to bugis. saw TNT's big print ad on the expressway, and we also passed by DHL's big balloon. haha.

after returning all the stock, we went separate ways.

i train-ed home and sleep cos i was feeling super weak & i think i can faint any moment!

woke up at seven plus top watch tv. my girl is super nice :D after which, went to sleep again. haha.

the second day of training can be best described in two words - information overload.

my schedule for the twenty-three days training.

then came lunch at 12PM, which was catered for (choice of fish & chips or chicken drumstick) i chose fish and it couldn't be any worse! the fish tasted like chicken and the fries was as hard & tasteless as raw potato -.-

yu sheng was not bad though. since the CS department is the second biggest department, we had to divide into two lo hei sessions. and within each session, there were three rounds :) yu sheng tasted good and we also celebrated the birthday of all february babies within the department.

just then, there was a very strong smell of gas and regina told me her lighter leak -.- luckily only the few of us know and we quickly ran out of DHL, all the way to JTC. threw the leaking lighter in JTC and went to buy my honeydew!

i officially announce that JTC sells the best honeydew! fresh big slices at only seventy cents :D

bumped into sisMEH's boyfriend again! brown.. LOLS.

after lunch was chitchat session with alisa's boss, bob. alisa is my trainer/instructor/lecturer (whatever you call it) boring session cos they keep talking about the same things over & over again. very luo suo.

back to training room where there was intensive lectures again. all of us fell asleep so alisa decided to let us off early.

called sisMEH while i was walking to the bus stop with regina & izzat. took 151 to hougang. bought qingliang's bday present & bus-ed to his "chatel" house.

bai nian to all uncles & auntys and da jie & da ge :) steamboat for dinner and we had lots of catching up & talking. really miss all of you! and yes, being suan as usual. & although there wasn't my favourite fish dumpling, it was replaced by "rubber".


after dinner was gift-giving. hope sisTING & qingliang like their gifts & please remember to use them k :D
