YAY! i passed. hahaha.
dumb site still needed me to download some school server thing which i was blocked by my company's IS dept. i had no choice but to live in fear & anticipation till work ended before i could check the results at home.
and back at home the lousy server kept promting error so i was so frustrated i didnt care if i passed or failed. and just when i was about to give up, the server was up again and yes, i passed! *glee



slightly more than a week left only till my last day at work! ah shucks, the peeps at work are gonna make me tear. they know im capable :/ and the sup has jotted down my name and contact. cos i'll be back! heh :D

after a good long break, i returned to work and realised i have partially forgotten how to do some of the stuff.

"eh how to do redelivery ah?" i asked.

"oh you register trace first then send QAR. you mean you forget already?" was the reply.

"ya" i answered sheepishly.

and then i was put on overtime for 2 consecutive days which got me all fatigued so i committed some small mistakes and was forgiven (:

ulcers start popping out by midweek and i wonder if its stress or that i've talked too much. or maybe the weather.

hit my personal record of more than 200 calls a day which is equivalent to answering 13 calls in 30 minutes. got a sore throat after that.

side note: 2 of my colleagues were diagnosed with some throat illness like some serious disease or something. they have got medical reports to prove! gees. this job sucks.

hurling TMD and KNS and WHATEVER to anyone / everyone. they now know me as the chor lor girl..

alright, once again people are complaining that i have this fierce look when i dont smile. like a menacing stare that says "dont you DARE provoke me" am i really that scary?? omg ):

and the ex-DJ drama mama new guy in our team is super hilarious. he can crack the entire team up at like 6pm with all the "paper.. paper!!" and "i have 2 beautiful colleagues" HAHAHA! :D i think he learnt that from his previous job. the team livens up immediately and they say i laugh too loud :/

lunch at east coast park. simple typical japanese bento set that can be found at any foodcourt. i didnt like the rice. i think the chef dont know how to cook nice jap rice. haha. other than that it was alright cos the set meals are cheap! like foodcourt prices (:

celebrated sha's bday on the very same day at ecp. cycling in the rain aint that bad if it wasnt cold. 6 bucks on half hour cycling was crap! blame it on peisi's mouth :P

sha is obviously pleased. all smiles and nothing else. aimee is clearly hallucinating about baby cookie monster. she needs to consult a psychologist immediately! i'm fascinated by strawberry tea. we've all heard of lemon tea and peach tea but what about strawberry?? :D

oh well, there goes my break :/ its fast huh. i'd barely had time to catch my breath and i'll be heading back to work again come monday. shit. i'm going to have monday blues. i just know it!

anyway, english test today was alright cos i dont expect much. was late for the test (i cant find the venue la) and very afraid to enter the hall. furthermore my seat was like at the last quarter of the hall. walked as quietly as possible (the hall floorboard creaks!) to my seat and spent a good 5 minutes trying to fan myself cool.

read the passage once through and i could only spot 2 out of 5 grammer/language errors. lol. after 3 or 4 attempts, i gave up and anyhow han-tam. right or wrong i just circled and thought of another most appropriate word/punctuation.

read another passage and did the MCQ. was pretty straightforward.

last part was the worst! i had to write a 500 word essay about biotechnology..

kns. im taking arts & social science; economics leh. what would i know about biotechnology?!

something like "biotechnology has been regarded as a main sector (blahblah) in many countries. investing in biotechnology is for every country. do you agree?"

WTH!!

been so long since i touched argumentative essays..

okay i finally did managed to squeeze out some crap and used two-and-a-half pieces of paper of which i think there should have more than 500 words. pray that i pass!

exams aside, im beginning to dread school. how how??

NUS is like a foreign land.. with so many foreign students around. especially CN ones!!! i really detest them man. everywhere i go i see them. and today i was climbing up a flight of stairs when this fatass CN man came down and banged me. i nearly fall cos i was too far from the hand rail to grab it. so damn paiseh cos there were so many students.

then i went to the ladies to see CN women queuing too. snatch my toilet... kns!

took bus 96 and see many more...

been ages since i got down to reading a book. decided to spend my 'vacation' meaningfully so i borrowed bro's - Why Men Don't Listen and Women Can't Read Maps.


finished within a day. book about gender differences and boys are not better off than girls nor vice versa & we're just different. got enlightened. a little (: some quotes/facts i extracted from the book:

too sweet! even though strawberry did ooze out when i bite into it.

NEEDLERS STRAWBERRY CREME
nicest wrapper but lousiest chocolate. strawberry filling was sticky like eating bubble gum.

PINK LADY'S WILD STRAWBERRY
looks damn plain but its the most wonderful combination. strawberry in semi-liquid form flows out smoothly when you bite into it. not too sweet. just right. love it!

tmr will be the start of my well deserved week long break! whoopieee :D its time to clear my annual leave before contract ends come august. im starting to miss the people at work already. i hate this "moving on" phase. the same as graduating from secondary; the same as joining entrepreneurship; the same as graduating from poly. and now im leaving the company! 6 months isnt a long period but i have grown to like the people here. work sucks hell lot but its always the people to bring the cheer & liven the department. we share jokes, we share gossips, we help each other out, we learn together, we make mistakes, we "fight the fire", we brave the tough times, we see how calls spiked, we experienced the jubilant 95% (:

very horrible. totally hate the sauce cos its so damn gluey. thick & stubborn. beef is ok. the sauce just spoils it all. ugh.
