last day of work!

Yay! The Princess is so happy today, she is jumping around the office and grinning to herself. =D

Hahaha! I feel like I'm the happiest Princess in the world. =) Cause today's my last day of work! (like finally)

That, plus the fact that I think I'm gonna quite like my new class.

And my boss bought Delifrance breakfast for all of us!! (my last day)

*
*
*
*
*

However, this also means I have to put in 100% commitment to SPSSC FO Camp. Ugh. Not that I hate the club, just... ugh. I don't know how to explain myself. Maybe because no close friends there. I'm like so damn lonely and I hate that!

I don't like being around 'strangers'. I don't feel at ease. I have to put on a mask. Nooooooo!! ="(

Actually the thing I dread most is NIGHTWALK! After going through a couple of training sessions, I've grown quite accustomed to the strange, awkward, lonely feeling.

*
*
*
*
*

Then the President broke the news. "All GLs are to go through SOLO nightwalks during the prep camp."

WTF?!

Did I hear S-O-L-O?!

Solo as in "done alone without anyone else helping you".

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

Help help help!!!!!

I can't do it!!!!!

Nnnnnnnnnnoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!

This reminds me of the nightwalk at Sentosa. (SPSSRSSC) We were supposed to walk through this trail alone! In the dark. WTF. Of course I didn't dare. Damn. So paiseh.

I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO DAREN'T GO ALONE!

fuck What happen to all the girls? They that brave meh?

I was accompanied by a senior. Still, it was damn scary. They said there was only one straight route. And since it was dark, the only light source came from the moon.

I waited and waited and waited (for my turn). And I prayed that it would suddenly rain, or the police caught us and said it was too dangerous. But hell, my turn came.

Once we entered the 'jungle', it was total darkness. I fucking can't see anything la. Not even my hand in front of me ok? Then my senior started talking to me. Divert my attention. Then we walk and walk and walk and suddenly, the route split.

What now? Left or right?

Then I remembered the leader said to squat if you see an alternative route.

Wah piang! Damn scared already still ask me squat. Later can't stand ah..

What happened after that, I couldn't quite remember. I think someone came and guided us out of that trail.

Phew!

Now SPSSC, all GLs to go alone. Damn. This time I'm not a freshman, I can't ask someone to accompany me. HOW?!?

Boo hoo hoo! ="(

And the worst thing is... we're going to visit MLT2. I thought "Aiya, MLT2 nothing one la, its W3 thats scary."

But NO, I was wrong. We're not going into the MLT. Instead, we'll be walking through a corridor. Let me tell you what's so scary about that.

1. My club President and his friends went there before. They all could feel something behind, like following them, but they daren't turn back. Even if they do, they wouldn't be able to see anything, cause it's pitch dark.

2. My Camp Commandant tried. He could smell things.

3. The helpers will block all routes such that the only way to complete the nightwalk is walk through that corridor.

4. There's no way you can see anything because the corridor is enclosed. Imagine: You can't see your hands in front of you.

5. There's no way you can run either. Because there are steps. It'll be worst if you trip and fall there.

6. There'll be no helpers there scaring the GLs cause even they are afraid to go there.

7. It's ten thousand times more eerie than W3.

8. The doors are never locked. (Which means, we can't give the excuse like "Oh, door lock so can't go by that way.")

9. The lights can never be switched on. The GLs were thinking "Since no helpers, we can cheat abit. On the lights la. But..."

I can just picture the entire scene!

Me, trembling, opens the door.

Smells something fishy. But no choice, have to step in. If not I'll be stuck there forever!

Takes the first step in, cold wind brushes across my face and body.

Sees a light stick. Walk down some steps. Pitch dark.

Sense people trying to scare me. But no! That shoudn't be the case, cause NO helpers in there, remember?

DAMN!!!

Just pray that I can survive it.

Hope I don't suffer from heart attack and faint inside there. And nobody would come and save me cause no one dares to enter. Then I'll just have a long long sleep inside there. And the whole world would think that I've gone missing. Until a year later...

When the next nightwalk comes. The freshmen would walk walk walk then step on me. Ugh.

No, no, I mustn't let my imagination run wild.

*
*
*
*
*

Sometimes I don't know if I can handle things well. Cause there are so many things to do/be done and there's simply - NO TIME! Ugh.

290306 --> SPSSC FO Main Comm Meeting *clash* Work
300306 --> SPSSC FO Briefing *clash* Work
310306 --> SPSSC FO Main Comm Meeting / Briefing *clash* Work
040406 --> SPSSC FO Prep Camp *clash* Girl Guides Enrolment Ceremony
070406 --> SPSSC FO Camp *clash* SB FOP Dry Run

See?!

ARGH!!!

I wonder if others are irked by this - this incessant drive to plumb a million things and the inability to delve adequately into any one of them.

*
*
*
*

Alrighty, I won't be blogging for a long long time cause I'm gonna be very very busy. Baah.

dba2a09

My new class for next (academic) year is DBA/FT/2A09!

Together with dearest Meh, Ting and Jocelyn!! =D

I was so excited when I got to know that Meh and I were in the same class. I was in the bus, on the way home, and I kept smiling to myself. Totally idiotic but who cares? I was ecstatic! Can hardly wait for school to start!

Hmm, I wonder who else is in my class...

I'll get to see darling Fel & Co. and ex-classmates during lectures! Wahahahh!! XD

1 more day till my last day of work!

enrolment = lunch bumbu

Yesterday was fun fun fun!!! Hell, it's been so damn long since I laughed so much. The people here talk about things which I don't have a clue about and their jokes are so NOT funny. I guess it's what we call different frequencies?

Anyway, yesterday was a super long day for me. Woke up at freaking 5.30 in the morning! *surprisesurprise* I actually woke up the moment I heard the alarm clock ring. Wahahah. What an achievement! =D

Shawn was late so we didn't wait for him. Eugene and I took the train to Pasir Ris and back again (so that we have seats - to sleep).

On the way to school, I learnt that a lot of us are hypocrites. Me included. It's sad but true. Appearances can be excruciatingly deceptive ok?

That aside, the entire journey took us one-and-a-half-hours! Cause when we reached Dover, Eugene wanted to sleep some more! (And so did I) So we refused to alight and let the train bring us to Boon Lay and back to Dover again. -.-" When I alighted at Dover, my butt was SORE!! Grr...

I think a sore butt in the morning makes me damn kuku (kukoo) for the day.

1 Junwei saw me at McDonalds in the morning but I didn't see him. When he told me he saw me at Mac, it was lunch time and Meh and I were... at Mac! So I thought he saw us there and then. Dotx.

*
*
*
*
*

Enrolment was sad-to-say BORING! There wasn't a steady stream of freshmen like I expected. They came in alone, or in pairs. Once in a while, you get 5 or 6 people. That's all.

Since yesterday was the last day of enrolment, it was no surprise when I heard we've reached exceeded our quota of 120. There were nearly 140 freshmen who signed up for our camp! Kudos to SPSSC! =)

So in between the registration (we still had to register all the freshmen cause for each one we registered, our club will get $1 - SP's rich!), we played jigsaw puzzle.

2 When the pieces were upside down, I said "Wrong already, tom-ba-leg la." It should be pronounced as ter-ba-leg right? =x

When finally we finished, I felt quite happy. =)

Since it made me so happy, we played again. This time using the opposite side (with my doodling). It's much more difficult but we complete it nevertheless. It also made me realise I didn't have much patience. I kept telling him "Cannot one lor, this one so difficult. Give up la." =s But hey, we still completed it. Made a mental note to have more patience. =)

Halfway during the enrolment, Eugene told me that the options ranking was out! I was so excited! Immediately logged in to SAS.

3 I didn't know where to check. Guess what I did? It was ultimate embarrassing! I shouted "Oi, under where (wear)?" Everyone laughed out LOUD! Baah.

But the class wasn't out yet. Ugh. Glad that Meh, Ting and I got into SCM!! Weeee!! Not forgetting Jo too! =)

4 I was so engrossed in the registration - this guy came up to me looking quite blur. So I said "Can I have your admin card please?" Turned out that he wasn't a freshman!! He was Da Samuel's friend!! Grr... They laughed out LOUD too.

Oh, I've got a suggestion for enrolment. Why not put a recorder? "Hi can I have your admin card please? What's your previous CCA? Ok, thank you. Please proceed down the stairs."

Met Meh in the afternoon. HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!!! Laughed practically the whole day. The Mac aunty was sooo cute! =p

Sort of like an errand day too cause we both needed to get some stuff. Too bad the strawberry slippers don't have my size. ILOVEITman!

Hope to spend another day like that again! Love crapping and laughing! Hahahahh.

5 Alvin was waving at me, yet I didn't see him.

At the office today...

My big big boss decided to treat us to lunch! =D

china and its ugly side

I came out of the lift this morning and was approached by a plump lady woman. She asked me for some shillings.

My mum quickly pushed me away and shook her head.

We walked till we were some distance away from her and my mum told me her reason behind it.

Apparently, this plump woman lives at the next block. Every day, she would walk around the void decks asking people for coins, to make phone calls etc...

I told my mum maybe she was poor.

She replied: "If she really poor then won't sit at the coffee shop every day drink kopi lo."

Hmm...

There are so many of this people around. conman! They are not really poor but they act like they're so pitiful and if you don't help them they might just die on the streets. And yet, there are so many truly poor people out there whom nobody helps. =(

That plump woman just goes around begging for money to... drink kopi. WTF! She has got an able body and is not handicapped or whatsoever. Why can't she find a decent job (even as a cleaner) and earn some money instead of just asking people for money? I know of this uncle who's handicapped and he make a living by selling newspaper. Although he earns little, it's still his hard-earned money.

Um, ok. Maybe I don't know her background. Maybe her children left her and she's oh-so pitiful. I don't know. But I know it's not too good for a normal woman like her to go around acting ke lian, asking for money.

Jxxxxx decided to drive us to Ang Mo Kio for lunch today. We were discussing about China (and its ugly side).

China people are damn greedy and they'd do anything to make money.

1. They spray colouring on apples to make them look fresh but in actual fact, thise apples have been there since 65 million years ago.

2. They insert pieces of thin fine lead into Chinese herbs. This makes the herbs weigh heavier so they can charge more.

Those were the 2 things my colleagues told me. Scary.

Oh, and there's one more about baby milk powder? Can't remember what it's about though.

Anyway, China people sucks.

I've been reading during the holidays! Ever since I graduated from me Secondary school, I've been reading very little, except for TODAY newspaper.

All in all, I've completed seven books! =) Going to start on my 8th one soon. That'll probably be my last one cause I'll be busy with camps. Ugh.

1. Angels by Marian Keyes
2. Tex by S.E.Hinton
3. Anyone But You by Lara M. Zeises
4. The Noodle Maker by Ma Jian
5. Last Wave by Paul Hayden
6. Planet Janet in Orbit by Dyan Sheldon
7. Carrie Pilby by Caren Lissner

8. If Andy Warhol Had A Girlfriend by Alison Pace

Been trying to get Memoirs of A Geisha but can't seem to find them in libraries. Probably will buy a copy using my pay. Heheh. =p

results n my class

#quite a long entry#

I'm strong...

...and weak.

Strong because despite being in the rain, I didn't fall sick. =)

Weak because I have muscle ache after some GL training. =(

*
*
*
*
*

Today's the release of results. Reminds me of my classmates.

I miss my class. Serious. It's been so long since I last meet up with my classmates. I can't help but think of the times we had together. Yes, I'm reminiscing. Those were the good old days…

Talking about DBA1A23, I feel like bringing up something. =)

DBA1A23 has had this habit of forking out $80 for each person's birthday. I've got totally no idea when this thing started, or how it started.

Habitually, when a classmate's birthday is around the corner, we'll reach into our pockets for that $4 and hand it to the 'person-in-charge'. This person will then buy some gifts for the birthday boy/girl and claim, "it's from the class". How true! Sometimes I don't even know what the birthday boy/girl received.

This thing ($4 payment) has become something we do 'unwillingly'. Every time, when someone's birthday is around the corner, an sms would be sent. It'll most probably read, "It's so-and-so's birthday next Monday. Please bring $4 and pass to me. Thanks."

C'mon, it's so-not-from-the-heart. Like we're being forced to pay $4 for nothing. Especially if we aren't that close to the birthday boy/girl.

It was nearly the end of the academic year when someone voiced it out. Too late. Even if someone were to abolish this 'system', people will complain. It's unfair to those who've already forked out close to $50. And on their birthday, they'd receive nothing - just because we've stopped this silly thing. That's quite sad.

Actually this birthday thing goes back to our class rep's birthday. His was the first birthday. And since he was our class rep, we decided to do something special about it. That time our class was still so-called 'united'. We bought a cake and made a birthday card for him. I guess he was pleasantly surprised and touched (I hope so). We spent about $30 for that. All taken from the class fund.

It was for the next birthday that someone suggested we all fork out $4 to get a jersey for that guy. We reluctantly agreed. I think we did that cause we didn't have time to celebrate his birthday or something. (Someone enlighten me on that.)

The next birthday was a girl's! Finally! Of course we sabo-ed her. I scratched her face (accidentally). We all had fun. Chasing each other. Wiping a combination of egg, flour and whipped cream all over each other.

And we also got 'lectured' by a lecturer. He said we were childish and all (fancy dirtying the school compound). Well, I say he's just jealous because no one did that to him on his birthday. He was deprived of a wonderful birthday bash. HAHA. (We also spent about $80.)

After that, more and more birthdays were lining up in the calendar. I guess everyone's busy to plan another birthday bash of some sort. So we just settled on the $80 thing.

There.

It was how we ended up paying $4 each for everyone's birthday, 'TO BE FAIR'.

Hmm, "if it's not from the heart, it's really not worth giving".

I think most of us give the $4 just because 'we were asked to do so'. I guess if no one mentioned, no one would give it willingly.

That's life.

Thankfully one academic year is over.

It's almost equivalent to forcing yourself to spend $80 for your own birthday! (If you bother to do the calculations.)

I really hope this lame thing will not happen next (academic) year.

If anyone of us sincerely wants to buy gifts for his/her friends, please do not ask others (who aren't willing to do so) to 'contribute'.

I doubt the recipient will be happy too.
=)

Well well, I got quite a lot to say huh? LOL. Um, fyi, I didn't mean to criticize my class or whatsoever. Just felt like bringing it up. HAHA.

DBA1A23 still rocks. =)
I still miss the classmates. =(

*
*
*
*
*
Actually I'm quite jealous when my friends from other classes tell me how much fun they had at their class chalet.

"Why our class no chalet one?!"

I guess no one bothered to organise one, that's why. I wanted to, but I'm too busy. I know, I know, everyone will give that same damn lame excuse. Pathetic.

But even if I organised one, I doubt many will turn up. All is just plain busy.

Boohoohoo!

*
*
*
*
*

Well well, now for the results. I deproved. Yea, I'll admit, I was actually rather disappointed. Baah!

People should improve man. Learn from mistakes. But I did not. Baah!

CD ---> DIST
ITAB II ---> A
PACC ---> A
ECONS ---> B+
STATS ---> B+
CRS ---> B
FOM ---> B
FA ---> C
GPA ---> 3.486 / 3.52

Actually I was thinking about it, and maybe I shouldn't be too unhappy. What right have I to whine? I should be thankful that I got a B for FOM. Damn. The paper was a killer. But I was quite disappointed with STATS. Should be able to do better than that. Anyway its no use cying over split milk so I guess I just have to work harder for next (academic) year.

And people, don't ever take FA for your gems. Its shite. Probably my class and tutor sucks. I don't know. In my opinion, she's lousy and bias.

Oh, FA = film appreciation, in case you were wondering.

Meanwhile, for those whose results didn't meet your expectations, don't be disheartened. You can always work harder next year. =)

And this is especially going out to dearest Meh jie and Junwei kor. Don't be sad already. Dry your tears and pick yourself up. Cheer up. I'll always be here for you.. =) Being sad won't do anyone good alrights? SMILE!

For those who did well, congratulations! You know you deserved it.

7 more days till my last day of work!

new retro skin

Um, I think my previous skin was shite. It's pleasant-looking at first, but when you look at it long and hard, it's horrible. Serious. The flower looks like shite. And when you have many many shite tiled, omg...

So... I've decided on a new skin. retro =)

I stared at it for a very long time, and hey, it's still nice. So there.

I can't believe I can actually work and do this thing at the same time. The wonders of multi-tasking. Heehee.

I'll be taking a break from work tomorrow - it's training day! Grins.

But I gotta reach school by 9am. So early! I overslept today so I hope history won't repeat itself. Maybe I should have 2 alarm clocks. =)

Alrighty, gonna knock off soon. Yay!

Cheers people.

training + work

Time passes really quickly when I'm working! I think even faster than when I'm studying. It's like very much a routine. I wake up, go to work, return home, have my dinner, watch TV, sleep. That goes on for like almost every day. So BORING! But even if I wanna go out after work, I'm be sooo exhausted already! No energy to enjoy myself. So meaningless! Can't wait for SPSSC FO Camp! Went to a training session on Tuesday (14mar06) and it was super tiring ok? +.+ Especially the game exploringSP. We went from one end of the school to another, pretending to be year 1s (eh, am I yr1 or 2 now ah? Whatever). The stations were o-k, maybe because I expected most of the games. Just hope that the coming SPSSC FO Camp can turn out to be a success! Hope the yr1s who turn up will be sporty, not the shy-shy type! =)

There'll be another training session next Tuesday (21mar06). Going to play more games. =) Hope this time more fun, and no more of those kissing stuff. (ultimate disgust) Thankyouverymuch.

Meanwhile, I'll be working, working, working... NO LIFE! ="( Take care everyone!! Hope to meet up soon!! >.<

work!

Been kinda tired lately and not in the mood to blog. Ha. Anyway, surprise surprise! My first-day-of-work-for-the-third-time turned out pretty much fine! =)

Although there was a bad start on the first day (headache and late for 30mins!!), everything else was alright. =) At least I wasn't kept in that room anymore. Now I'm sharing a cubicle with pretty girl, Sxxxxxxxx. Weet! She's here to replace the girl who replaced Kxxxx. LOL.

Guess that's about all. Think I won't be blogging much. Work is tiring man!! >.<

Finally I've got some peace! My bro is in M'sia for his Sec3 camp. Wahahah!! XD

end of acad yr 1!! ="(

Hi there! Yes, I'm finally back to blogging after a 13 day hiatus. Been busy preparing for the final year exams. Now its all over! SMILES. But this also marks the end of Year 1. Its fast isn't it? The speed at which time flies. I can hardly take a breather and I'm off to Year 2. Come to think of it, I already miss my class. A bunch of fun loving people. Sadly the originally 'united' class split into two. And then was further divided into cliques. Now what's left of DBA1A23 is many small groups of people. But I still miss them nonetheless. I can't imagine having to step into a new class. Have to adapt to an environment all over again. But that aside, I still have about 6 weeks of break before the new (academic) year starts.

Thinking about work just turns me off. It will be my first-day-of-work (next Monday) at Moxoxoxx for the third time. Sigh. I absolutely loathe working. Especially when I have no friends there! I'm someone who'd die without company. =x The last time I was there, I had darling Fel to accompany me =). Although she works at the 7th floor, I know I can run upstairs whenever I'm bored. I tried asking that ass for vacancy for Fel but he said NO. Damnit shit. I'm so gonna die!!!

The first time I was there, I had a whole bunch of nice friends! Now Sxxx and family immigrated to Sydney. Mxxxxxx was transferred back to his own company. Kxxxx got a new job at HSBC with a damn high pay. $.$ My aunt was retrenched. Now working at another company. Left Jxxxxx. That ass! J is sick in the mind and his presence is irritating and disturbing. The second time I was there, J was still there. Now is the third time I'm going back and J hasn't left. Damn him!

I just hope that they don't keep me in a room like before. You know what I do in that supposedly 'secret' room? I sort files. Can you imagine?! Me-sorting-files? Like an idiot. Sort, staple, punch hole, file. Sort, staple, punch hole, file. Sort, staple, punch hole, file. SO IDIOTIC!!! Three-year-old also can do that! Like an insult to me. The only reason I stay is for the money. $.$ I figured I'm old enough to earn and spend my own money. "I'm seventeen oreadi!"

Let me tell you more about that 'secret' room. Its freaking quiet ok. You could hear a pin drop. (But the place's carpeted so probably not.) You know how quiet is quiet? It's like in a MLT alone, and you don't speak. Your ears hurt like hell ok? And for fucking 8 hours, you stand and do filing. The room is cramped with drawers and cabinets so don't expect any place to sit. I got fed up the last time so I wore jeans (supposedly not allowed unless on Fridays) to work and sat on the floor while sorting out the documents. Those documents are highly confidential. They contain information which I'm not supposed to know. But heck, since they put me there, I just look through everything. Wahahah!! XD

Ok, enough of my complaints. I shall update when I start working. *dreads! Meanwhile, let me enjoy what's left of my short-lived-hopefully-fairytale-like-happy days. =)
